"Based on recommendations from our friends in the construction profession, my wife and I contracted with Hunter Building Group in Flagstaff, AZ to design and build a custom home after our previous home was destroyed by the Tunnel Fire. We worked directly with Hunter owner Chris Vallejos to design and build the house and had a very positive experience.
Design Phase: Chris accommodated our request to make the new house as resistant to fire and flood as possible within our budget. He explained our options and he followed our choices exactly. Communication was face-to-face as well as by email at every step of the design process.
Building Phase: Chris Vallejos assigned a supervisor (Chris Cleland) to oversee construction by subcontractors. Cleland was on top of everything and was in daily contact with us. He was always available either in person or by phone, and responded to the problem within hours if we had questions. Any of our concerns were handled through Vallejos or Cleland to our satisfaction."
